Core Process
Psychotherapy
Core Process Psychotherapy works with the
body, mind and spirit. This form of psychotherapy draws from modern
Western approaches combined with Buddhist philosophy - principally the
teachings on compassion, wisdom and unconditional acceptance.
The Core Process approach offers the
opportunity to develop a deeper awareness of our embodied experience in the
present moment. This can lead to lasting change and improve our ability to cope
with life as it is in each moment.
Core Process Psychotherapy can help us to
gain insight into the way things are. To connect with our potential to
change the way we do life and the relationship we have with ourselves and
others.
Psychotherapy is generally medium to long-term
in nature. It can, however, sometimes help with short term difficulties which arise for
all of us. Sessions take place once a week. |

What we may do
All therapy sessions take place within an
atmosphere of warmth and respect and a willingness to welcome all that you
may bring.
Although psychotherapy is predominantly
conducted through dialogue, there are many other aspects of the Core
Process approach which can include drawing, movement, silence, sound,
fantasy, visualisation, and more
If appropriate and safe for you, all of
these ways of being and doing can form a part of our work together.
You may wish to bring these aspects and
others to our sessions and explore. |

What I can offer
I offer a free introductory meeting to
discuss how therapy might be of value to you and discuss any questions or
doubts you may have.
Sessions are usually weekly and of one hour
duration, meetings are held within a dedicated space in order to provide a
confidential and safe environment in which to hold and work with whatever you
may bring.
Fees
Standard reduced rate: £32.00 per hour.
I also have a number of spaces at concessionary rates available, these are negotiable, dependent upon circumstance.
Once psychotherapy starts we would
normally review progress after an initial six week period and from time to

be given at least 2 months notice of any increase.
